As a part of our Homelessness Mercy Focus at DCC we have partnered with Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission to walk with men and women experiencing homelessness throughout their recovery journey.
The mission helps! Not only as a place to sleep at night or a meal during the day, they also offer a yearlong program that teaches a way to negotiate life, meet Jesus, and become good citizens. We are the hands and feet of Christ when we serve the lonely, sick, homeless and downtrodden, what a better way to live the life of a Christian than bringing his love in the form of a sandwich, a prayer, a warm drink, pat on the back, and the good news of a better life with him?
